How Cats Can Transmit Infection

More commonly seen in the USA, but it has recently started
to occur more frequently in the UK. A bacterial infection that infects both people and cats, Lyme disease is usually
carried by the Deer tick. Symptoms include lameness, fever, loss of appetite,
fatigue and an abnormal enlargement of the lymph nodes. Lyme disease is often
treatable with antibiotics.
