Cat Years
It
was once believed that one year in the life of a cat was equivalent to seven
years in the life of a human. But now a new scale has been accepted: After
the first two years, the cat's life proceeds slower in relation to human
life and each feline year becomes approximately four human years. At about
the age of seven a cat can be considered to be "middle-aged," and
at ten years and over, "old."
